As you browse the artwork in the gallery, you’ll now be able to add ratings to specific pieces of art. Near the bottom of the page (above the comments), you’ll find a five-star rating interface. It would be great if as many of you as possible would rate the different pieces in our galley so we can see what everyone likes most (and least). It will also help us build a most popular/highest rated list that may help users find work that the community thinks is best.

We’ve just added the ability for you to comment on specific artwork in our gallery. Just go to the bottom of a product detail page in the gallery and post your thoughts or feedback.
It’s perfect for those of you who have ordered a print and want to share your thoughts after actually seeing it up close. Do you have specific questions about a piece of art that you would prefer the community to answer? Go ahead and start a discussion about your favorite piece.
We hope this site can be more than a gallery… we’re building a community for the Christian visual arts and we want you to be a part of it. Get started by using one of the links below.

I’d like to announce what will hopefully be the first of many community competitions. Each month we’re going to let you pick the theme for our next art commission. For now, just post a comment here to nominate a Biblical theme that you would like to see turned into art. Themes can be anything from a Bible story to a concept or idea. Be as specific as you want.
If you like someone’s idea, simply post a comment to say so. The approved theme with the most individual votes will win. When the artwork is completed, we’ll send the winner an artist-signed print at any of our sizes and on any of our materials. Don’t be shy – you could be next month’s winner!

The first of several desktop designs is now available. This one is inspired by Nehemiah and the Wall by Justin Gerard and is available in sizes all the way up to 2560×1600! Download yours today!
With the addition of comments, we’ve taken the first step to allowing you to get involved in the creation of new artwork. For now you can comment on this and other news entries. When March’s artwork gets underway, we hope you’ll feel free to give us your feedback right away. Enjoy your new voice!

Now you can order our miniprints to try out our printing materials or just for fun! Miniprints are identical to our full-size art in many ways, but they’re compact and portable. Best of all they’re only ten bucks!

The first batch of what we’re calling “miniprints” has just rolled off the printer and they look great! The printed area is approximately four inches by six inches and features artwork printed at 600dpi on Hahnemühle FineArt Canvas. Those of you who have already purchased artwork through our store will be getting a special thank you in the mail this week. You can show your friends your new artwork without having to take it off the wall. Don’t forget to let us know what you think.

Thank you to all those of you who participated in the beta over the weekend. It went very well and it appears the site is a hit. We’ve implemented most of the suggestions from our brief (and intense) beta period, and the site is now open to everyone. Let us know what you think and always feel free to make suggestions or critiques.
In the spirit of celebration, we would like to offer everyone a 20% discount on everything in the store through the end of January! Enjoy!

For those of you who have followed the work of Justin Gerard or Portland Studios, you may recognize two new pieces that we’ll be adding to the store before launch. Portland Studios has graciously allowed us to make “To Chain the Beast” and “Christian and Apollyon” available through our store.
“To Chain the Beast” was featured in Spectrum 11, a collection of the best fantasty-themed artwork of the year. Justin painted the piece to illustrate the epic moment from Scripture when the angel binds the dragon — symbolizing Christ’s defeat of evil demonic forces. “Christian and Apollyon” illustrates the battle between the Christian and Apollyon in John Bunyan’s classic allegory, The Pilgrim’s Progress.
